A manekineko is a traditional Japanese good luck charm. They are usually in the form of cat which is waving it’s paw. For this workshop we will teach you how to make your own manekineko which can also double as a money box. Although the manekineko is usually a cat, you are free to get creative and design it in any form you like! The manekineko will be made out of clay and the workshop will be run by a professional ceramic artist.
All materials will be provided and the manekineko will be fired and glazed before it’s returned to you.
This workshop is great opportunity to exercise your creativity, learn more about Asian culture and make new friends!
Please notice: We are trying to make it easy & fun but the process of making Manekineko could be a little bit complicated for absolute beginners. It doesn mean you are not welcome as an absolute beginner, we just want to tell you …If you are willing to try, our assistances will be very happy to help anytime 🙂
